Had the privilege of being official photographer for Warrington Borough Council when the Olympic Torch was passed on outside Warrington Town Hall today lunch time.

Here’s the moment of the “kiss” procedure when the flame gets passed to the next torch bearer.

Brazilian basketball star Oscar Schmidt took up the flame outside the Town Hall from Sue Stout before passing it on to John Paul Smith in Bridge Street.

Thousands lined the route and the Borough Council made a special roadside area available to the 300 plus schoolchildren who were taking part in their own Olympic Values event in Bank Park. Even the steady rain throughout the morning couldn’t dampen their spirits.

What an amazing day we had shooting Nicola and Phil’s Wedding at Reddish and the Village Hotel Cheadle yesterday! We stopped off at Brookfield park in Cheadle for some bridal party photos on our way to the Village and then capture their guests relaxing on the patio before the Wedding breakfast.

Second wedding event of the weekend, this time with a difference.

Elaine and Paul were celebrating their Ruby Wedding Anniversary (40 years) by renewing their vows in front of family and friends at St Mary’s Church in Great Sankey then off to Statham Lodge Hotel in Lymm for their celebration dinner.

The party included one of their Sons who travelled with his fiancée from Australia for the occasion.

It was a great afternoon in lovely weather – here’s one of our fun shots of Elaine and Paul on the Statham Lodge love swing with their Grandkids.

Spent a busy morning in Crewe with a client shooting the manufacturing site for ground-breaking new optical equipment.

Then it was off to deliver the edited images from yesterday’s shoot at a sweet shop and tea-room.

Now it’s time to prepare everything for tomorrow and Sunday’s Weddings!

Just got this photo from the Mother of yesterday’s Bride as she was viewing their Honeymoon Album and chilling between their Wedding Breakfast and Evening Reception. I really love being able to capture the emotions of a couple’s big day and giving them something to take on honeymoon with them so they don’t have to wait until they come home for some photos.
