Had great day at Walton Hall Wedding Fayre on Sunday.

Thanks to the lovely Laura and Sam for booking us on the day for their Wedding in December.

Some other lovely couples came to see and we’ll hopefully be meeting up in the next week to see if we might be able to help them celebrate their big day by capturing stunning images for them to remember it for posterity.

Lots of people have started to upload and share images on the Pinterest.com web site where it is possible to pin images for future reference and to share favourites.

What might be a concern for those whose photography is their only or main source of income is the following clause in their terms and conditions.

Now I’m no legal expert but that sounds to me like something of a rights grab even though they don’t claim any ownership.

So if you use Pinterest and upload images make sure that you are prepared to lose control of their distribution and are quite happy for someone else to sell them.

Having a relaxing few days with family.

Spent yesterday afternoon with my two beautiful Granddaughters in Edinburgh and thought I would share one of my photos from our afternoon.

Had only just sat down after the Wedding Fayre on Sunday and was working out the list of follow-up calls I had to make when my phone rang.

It was a really lovely surprise call from a Bride to be we first met at the Walton Hall Wedding Fayre back in September last year.

She had been visiting lots of Wedding Fayres over Winter and had just returned from the latest at the Daresbury Park Hotel in Warrington.

Despite all the hours spent trawling round different venues and photographers they came to the conclusion that, almost five months on, we stood out from all the others in what we were able to offer them.

I visited them yesterday and they have booked us for their big day photography at the Parish Church and Mere Court Hotel, one of the most beautiful venues in Cheshire.

Needless to say it provided a perfect end to a long and busy day when that call came in.
